Here's a toast to another great article! My husband and I are empty nesters... all 3 of our grown sons are off in other states and countries living their lives and won't be home for Thanksgiving. We invited a couple that we have become close friends with since 2015. They are absolutely on the other end of the spectrum from us politically, but we thoroughly enjoy each others company and we do dare to talk politics (a little) and respectfully speak our opinions and listen to each other without dropping our friendship.
