An investigation published by Public on collusion between the Virality Project—an endeavor spearheaded by the Stanford Internet Observatory, and that worked in conjunction with the US government to combat so-called “misinformation”—revealed yet more evidence of attempts at censorship.

As reported by Alex Gutentag and Andrew Lowenthal for Public, “Stanford lied about the scope of the Virality Project and that its censorship efforts were undertaken on behalf of the US government.”
